[LYRICS] TOKIO - Jump

From the fragile single, released in 2016
Lyrics by Taichi Kokubun
Composed by Taichi Kokubun
Arranged by Taichi Kokubun

KANJI

Hey!!
Hey!!
Hey!!
Believe in your self!!

Hey!!
Hey!!
Hey!!
Give me Give me your best!!

Hey!!

Hey!!
Hey!!
Hey!!

Believe in your self!!

ENGLISH
Turning on the TV, people I don't know sing about world peace
But all their bits of anxiety don't exist in me at all

If you think spilled coffee stains are like a piece of art
Then maybe you'll feel something in this song, too...

One, two, jump! Hey!!
Don't you wanna jump over? The real answer is... Hey!!
On the other side! Now then! From where you're standing, jump! Hey!!
When you're feeling scared, believe in yourself!!

As my favourite sneakers wore out, some explanation came to mind
The more I looked out into the distance, the more my heart wore out, too...

One, two, jump! Hey!!
What's tomorrow look like? Everything else is... Hey!!
It's not my place to say! So with the way you are now--jump! Hey!!
One after the other--give me, give me your best!!

If I become a little more serious, even I could... lalala~♪
Find some chance out there, somewhere
But if I keep my eyes on just my smartphone, everything'll pass me by... Hey!!

One, two, jump! Hey!!
Don't you wanna jump over? The real answer is... Hey!!
On the other side! Now then! From where you're standing, jump! Hey!!
I know you're feeling scared, but that's expected, isn't it?
Get ready to dash in--one, two, hey!! Jump!

Believe in yourself!

This is so overdue. Tomo described this song as a garage rock kind of song that he was crazy excited for, and I can see why. It was written by Taichi, but it seems so very much like something that'd come out of Tomo's mouth instead, haha. Except there's the mention of jumping out of your comfort zones, whereas most of Tomo's personal songs (as in the ones not written for TOKIO) so far are just "I'm happy with where I am, I don't need anything but this". :x

I'm finally doing Fragile's 7th episode! It'll come out some time tomorrow evening (it's currently 9:39 PM as I type this) for sure. And to those waiting on friend requests, I'm getting there! Good God, everything just piled up.
